Here Miss Lohan is sporting what looks like (click on the picture to make it larger) a black manicure with pink polish on her middle fingers. A message to the photogs perhaps? Apparently the trend of putting a different color on one finger is becoming quite popular. Ladies on the MUA nail board have been doing it for a while and I believe there is a character on Ugly Betty who does it as well. Don't hold that to me though because I've never watched the show, it was just something I saw a photo of a while back.
I think this is a pretty nifty idea, the color combinations are endless, there is also the option of layering colors. I am too much of a perfectionist to do something like this though. I have to have all of my nails the same color and equal coverage. A big reason why I never do french manicures of any type or nail art. Yeah, I'm so boring I know.
What do you guys think of this nail trend? Would you wear it?

I would do it for fun on occasion. I wouldn't put the bright on my middle finger though. It seems like bad polish manners. LOL.

I first saw it on Solange Knowles(Beyonce's sister) and thought it was a bit weird, but now I think that because its so different, its pretty cool. I'm all about being unique about my nails and its a cool idea. I wouldn't do it though.
